Lao Entertainment Awards Coming Next Month


After being rescheduled a month ago, the first ever Lao Entertainment Awards will make its debut next month on May the 7th. It will be honouring every individual who works in the entertainment industry whether it be radio hosts, television VJ's, news paper writer, or performing artists.

The categories have already made its way online. These include:
  • Popular Song ບົດເພງຍອດນິຍົມ
  • Popular Male Artist ນັກຮ້ອງຊາຍຍອດນິຍົມ
  • Popular Female Artist ນັກຮ້ອງຍິງຍອດນິຍົມ
  • Popular TV Program ລາຍການໂທລະພາບຍອດນິຍົມ
  • Popular Male Talk Show Host ຜູ້ດຳເນີນລາຍການຊາຍຍອດນິຍົມ
  • Popular Female Talk Show Host ຜູ້ດຳເນີນລາຍການຍິງຍອດນິຍົມ
  • Popular Radio FM Channel ລາຍການວິທະຍຸງຍອດນິຍົມ
Voting will be based on SMS texting by inserting the number of the nominee and sending to *3333 (e.g. press 1 to *3333 to vote)

UPDATE:
There will be a number of Thai celebrities attending this event!

    How is the lao awards be broadcasting from Laos to Usa. Is it going to be on that free Laostar channel that most lao people get from the USA. Is there a website for free live steaming on the internet to watch? Gotta see the Goddess Nam Tao, expecting a live performance.
