Introducing Vena
Vena - New KPY Artist
Khompanya, a.k.a KPY, has added yet another artist to their company. Her name is Vena and she was once a Nang Sangkan contestant from Luang Phabang. She was also a presenter for Ponds White Beauty in 2009 as well as a model. Kpy took note of this young lady and decided to recruit her to their company.
Anyone notice a pattern going on here? For some reason girls who took part in the Nang Sangkan competition end up becoming singers. From the top of my head I remember hearing that Khaek, the former female singer of L-zone, and all three of the girls from Pretty Cool were all contestants of Nang Sangkan
I really like her photo shoots with the head phones. Gives me a young and hip feel from these photos. She's from Luang Phabang meaning she has that lovely accent that the Luang Phabang people speak with. They sound like they are singing when they talk, right?

What a cute girl! I can't wait to hear her song & hope is not another typical boring song like Lzone or genii somr thing like that!

ReplyDeleteThe first two pictures are great, the last three not so much. Man oh man there seems to be alot of new Lao singers/groups that I have not herd of before, can't wait until their singles drop! :)

ReplyDeleteShe is cute, but Luangpabang accent will never hit vientianian listeners, they sound like country to sing pop song...or Maybe KPY can make something different on her...i'll wait to see their work...keep up Laos.
